We're in Las Vegas right now visiting my sister on my week off from school, and Alivia starts acting different than normal. my little sweet pea is always so fun and on the go and ready for our next adventure...(anytime but nap time that is)... She started her fever of 101.5 after nap time on wednesday. -i went and bought a rectal thermometer and some Vaseline for this sick girl so i could know what her temp was...(she has gotten up to 104.8 before so when the temp is on the rise it scares me)... i hate doing it the rectal way, next time my ear thermometer is going in the bag. she wasn't herself all day Thursday, so i took her to the doctors thursday night. after me complaining to the receptionist..(that is so nice of me to say, i could say much much more)... we got in to see the doctor who was REALLY really nice and thorough, everything you imagine when you think of a pediatrician. Her temp was 103.1, so i was glad i was at the docs. after Liv not drinking her water or the pedialite the doctor had to cath her. Alivia did good, it helped the doctor did awesome and got right in on the first try. We got sent home with a prescription for a UTI, even though she doesn't quite have it yet...(the first time we went, about 2 months ago, they sent us home with nothing because the quick uti test they did came back negative, they ended up calling us back, telling us the culture was actually positive. so the doctor this time is anticipating thats whats going to happen again)... i hope this antibiotic helps this munchkin. we're driving back home from vegas tomorrow night and i really hope its good and in her system before we leave, i don't want her to be even more uncomfortable on the ride home than it already is.
Motrined-up Livia playing a staring game with mom. :)love her to DEATH!
